I was reading the Vodafone website and it says that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 confirmed for launch May 4th in store and online.It was open for pre-order and All Galaxy Tablets that were purchased before close of business (Sunday the 1st of May) - were dispatched on 2nd May. Consumers will receive them by Wednesday.
The company accelerated production of a redesigned Galaxy slate, said to be slightly slimmer than the iPad 2. Samsung also revised its pricing strategy, abandoning plans to charge a premium for the larger slate.
The Wi-Fi only version of the slimmed Galaxy Tab 10.1 is expected for delivery in the US in early June, with a starting price of $499 for the 16GB edition. [via Engadget]
