DANCING WITH THE STARS INDONESIA - Di bulan Maret ini Indosiar meluncurkan program terbaru bertajuk DANCING WITH THE STARS (DWTS). Program ini rencananya bakal ditayangkan tiap hari Sabtu pukul 21.00 wib mulai tanggal 12 Maret 2011. DANCING WITH THE STARS (DWTS) adalah program kerja sama BBC Worldwide Inggris dan Indosiar dari program asal bernama Strictly Come Dancing. Program ini merupakan kompetisi menari yang diikuti 12 pasang penari. Pasangan penari yang berkompetisi adalah seorang selebritis / public figure yang disandingkan dengan seorang penari professional. Mereka akan berkompetisi menggunakan system eliminasi hingga di babak grandfinal tersisa 3 pasang penari.

Tarian yang dikompetisikan adalah dari 2 jenis tarian yaitu Ballroom dance dan Latin Dance. Ballroom Dance terdiri atas Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Slow Foxtrot dan Viennese Waltz. Sementara untuk Latin Dance yaitu Chacha, Rhumba, Jive, Paso Doble dan Samba. Program ini akan berlangsung hingga babak grandfinal sebanyak 10 (sepuluh) episode.

Peserta adalah dari 1 pasang yang terdiri atas seorang selebritis dan seorang penari professional. Jumlah keseluruhan adalah 12 selebritis ( 6 seleb pria dan 6 seleb wanita ) serta 12 penari professional ( 6 profesional pria dan 6 profesional wanita ). Terbagi atas 2 grup yaitu Grup A : 6 seleb wanita & 6 penari professional pria (Yuanita Christiani (Host & Model), Magdalena (Host, Model & Comedian), Cindy Bernedette (R&B Singer & Vocal Director), Wiwid Gunawan (Actrees & Model), Zivana Letisha (Indonesia Miss Universe ‘08, Poppy Putri (News Presenter)). Grup B : 6 seleb pria & 6 penari professional wanita (Augie Fantinus (Host & Comedian), Fadly (Host & Model), Iwa K (Rap Singer), Hengky Kurniawan (Actror & FTV Director), Ceasar (Host & Radio Announcer), Ivan Ray (aktor&vocalis)

Pada babak awal, ke-12 pasang penari akan dibagi menjadi 2 group yaitu group A dan group B hingga masing-masing group terdiri dari 6 pasang penari. Group A akan berkompetisi hingga menyisakan 3 pasang penari. Group B kemudian akan berkompetisi menyisakan 3 pasang penari juga. Selanjutnya ke-6 pasang penari kemudian dilebur menjadi satu kelompok dan berkompetisi hingga menyisakan 3 pasang penari. Di episode 10, ada 2 isu utama. Pertama memilih 2 pasang dari 3 pasang penari untuk melaju ke babak grandfinal. Kedua, memilih juara umum dari 2 pasang yang berkompetisi di babak grandfinal. Sistem penilaian di program ini adalah : Penilaian dari 3 sd 4 Judges (salah satunya adalah Ralf Lepehne – Juara Latin & Ballroom International Dance dari Jerman) & 100 orang Juri Votelock.
